Portal Conference – June 2008

There has been some “chatter” on different higher ed marketing websites lately about Portals. For those of you interested Gettysburg College is hosting the third annual Portal Conference from June 3 until June 6. The following text comes directly from the conference website:

“We have added an all-conference session on Thursday afternoon featuring Ray Henderson, vice president and chief products officer at Angel Learning. This has created a shift of some of the sessions on the schedule. We have 31 sessions and have a variety of presentations including a three-part technical Getting Started with uPortal, CRM Evolution at Gettysburg College, Porting the Portal, The Impact of Portals in Higher Education in 2008, Assessing Portalness: University of Georgia’s Measurement of Portal Assessment, uPortal Implementation Stories: Here’s How We Did It and many more. Three sessions will be panel discussions; Planning, Buy-In and Assessment.”
